Green manufacture and green products are valued.
Green manufacture refers to the improvement of manufacturing technology and reduction of pollutants to meet or even surpass national environmental protection standards.
In 2018, the environmental tax has officially started to be levied, which put a heavier environmental responsibility on hotel supplies enterprises.
Highly polluting or high-energy consuming enterprises will be gradually phased out, and green production will become a competitive advantage of manufacturing enterprises.
Green products are more in line with environmental requirements and favored by more hotels and consumers.
Disposable products are a good example. Disposable consumables are what hotels must provide, but always controversial for not being green. The government is also trying to limit the availability of disposable items by legislation.
However, the legislation is a good solution, the green products are the fundamental solution to the dispute.
Because green products not only could satisfy the demand for disposable products but also meet the requirements of environmental protection.
The Internet market needs to be expanded.
Hotel supplies industry has been using a traditional trading mode of “wholesale city + exhibition”. The model is not good to acquire the information, and limited by geography and long transaction process. In order to solve these disadvantages, the hotel supplies industry has been trying to connect and use the internet but turned out it’s not well so far.
Does that mean the Internet isn’t suitable for the hotel industry? In my opinion, as a matter of fact, the across localization, no time-limitation and interconnectedness of the Internet exactly can make up the disadvantages of the “wholesale city + exhibition” mode. What the hotel supplies industry should do is to find out a way to connect and use the Internet.
